Support Concrete Jungle: Transforming Food Insecurity into Abundance
Welcome to my fundraising page for Concrete Jungle! This year, I've had the incredible privilege of serving on the board of this inspiring nonprofit in Atlanta. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to forage, farm, and support food access across Georgia.
Why Concrete Jungle?
Food security has always been a cause close to my heart. At Concrete Jungle, we address this issue in a unique and impactful way. By rescuing unused fruits and vegetables and redistributing them to those in need, we tackle both food waste and hunger. Our innovative programs -- such as local fruit picks, farm days, adventure picks, and produce education classes -- empower communities and promote healthy living.
My Journey with Concrete Jungle
Volunteering on the farm has been a source of immense joy and fulfillment for me. Watching the smiles of families receiving fresh produce and knowing that we're making a tangible difference is incredibly rewarding. Now, as a board member, I'm even more committed to expanding our reach and creating lasting change.
